Words Reflection on Research


As a student in a university is compulsory to do research. In this post, I am going to write my personal reflection on research including the process and student's qualities and ethics. 
Research is important in improving human life. By doing research, a new fact can be developed based on the investigation and the study about the fact. There is a lot of research has been done in order to improve the quality of life of people. 
   I want to give something to the community as well as make money. I want to help civilization and community in life with the help of my friends, lectures, and family. From the support I have, I able to earn support and encouragement to do my research to help the community. I get this inspiration from my supervisor, Dr. Jidon Janaun. He has helped the community with a lot of projects to improve the product such as paddy with his machine that he had designed. His main purpose is to help the community. He also gets helped by his students to finish the project.
   The process of research might be hard but the results will be satisfying and are great to help the community. There will be challenges and obstacles while dealing with research and getting the right resources.  
   It’s important to keep disciplined when doing research and followed the procedure. The qualities for example, hardworking need to be maintained with aims to help the community. Student’s research needs to be independent but still, get consultants from a supervisor. In order word, a student needs to be more autonomy in their ethics but still able to get the resources for better quality research.

This is my reflection about research.

Personal Understanding From the recent meeting my supervisor, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jidon Janaun, we make an adjustment by changing the title of my research to the development of multi-pass solar heat collectors for UMS Eco-Solar dryer. The new objectives have also been developed matching with the title.   The research will mainly focus on the solar heat collector of the dryer. Double pass solar heat collector will be developed to improve the performance of the solar heat collector and to achieve the objectives. From the previous study of UMS Eco-Solar dryer, the maximum temperature it can reach is up to 60oC. However, some crops may require a higher temperature to retain the properties and structure of the crops. This study will be different between the two types of material in two types of design.
